Report to the Community 2015-16

ACCORDING TO THE ORIGINAL EXPECTATION, this report on The Pittsburgh Foundation’s work in the past year would be celebrating the larger-than life public event announcing our new larger-than-life organizing principle: 100 Percent Pittsburgh. That multiyear effort celebrates the New Pittsburgh: a city in the fast lane with a revitalized economy and unprecedented livability. But it also intends to fill a big hole in that Renaissance story—30 percent of the region’s residents are held back from full participation, most often due to poverty.
