Project Manager - Business Systems Analyst Reports to: Director of Information Technology

We are actively seeking a dynamic and proficient project manager - business system analyst to spearhead a pivotal Salesforce and NetSuite implementation project for our organization. This role calls for an adept individual who can navigate through intricate project landscapes with finesse. As the project manager, you will coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholders, meticulously manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the seamless delivery of tailored Salesforce and NetSuite solutions that align with our organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, specifically with Salesforce implementations. The candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for using technology to effectuate positive social change and possess a blend of strategic insight, technical prowess and a passion for community impact.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the end-to-end project management of the Salesforce and NetSuite implementation along with other systems included in the technology transformation, including planning, execution, monitoring and closure phases.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, prioritize needs and define project scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets, and ensure adherence to these throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants and implementation partners to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders and escalate issues or risks as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including internal team members and external contractors, to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
  • Oversee user training and change management activities to ensure successful adoption of the Salesforce solution across the organization
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned for future projects.
  • Stay current with Salesforce best practices, updates and new features to continuously optimize the Salesforce platform for organizational needs.
  • Post-implementation, continue tofocus on project management and system administration.
  • Other duties as assigned.  
KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Commitment to the Foundation’s values of accountability, collaboration, community, racial justice and trust.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Nonprofit Cloud, and experience with customizations and integrations strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector or with community organizations is preferred, with a passion for social impact and driving positive change. 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale Salesforce implementations; experience with agile framework preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology or related field or applicable experience and certification instead of a degree.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is preferred. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Jira or Microsoft Project preferred
