Small and Mighty: Trinity Temple Church Inc

The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Small and Mighty program awarded $15,000 to All About the Youth Community Center in 2021.

Trinity Temple Church is a Black-led and serving organization located in Homewood which facilitates an array of community-based programs in coordination with Homewood Concerned Citizens Council. The Homewood Concerned Citizens Council is a community collaborative that addresses food insecurity, nutrition and health needs for more than 1,200 low-income families, seniors and youth each month. With this grant, Trinity Temple Church will continue its hot meals program in partnership with 412 Food Rescue and Just Harvest, its weekly food box program, vaccination clinics and outreach to youth and people experiencing housing insecurity.

The Small and Mighty grants program focuses on grant seeking for small nonprofits that are meeting basic needs in our region. Since 2016, the program has awarded funding to many nonprofit organizations with budgets of less than $600,000. View a list of all Small and Mighty grantees
