Sid Feiler Memorial Scholarship Sid Feiler was the vice principal at Allderdice High School for 30 years. He cared deeply for the students he served and was greatly respected by faculty and parents. Sid and his wife Connie were both born and raised in Squirrel Hill and attended Allderdice. Since his passing in January of 2019, Connie, her family and members of the Allderdice community wanted to establish this scholarship in his memory for graduating seniors of Allderdice High School who are planning on pursuing post-secondary education.

Criteria

• Attend Allderdice High School as a graduating senior.
• Reside in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university.

How to Apply

• Complete the essay section of the application.
• Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). If you have not already received your FSS, you can do so by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Submit one letter of reference from someone who is not related to you.
• Submit your unofficial transcripts.
