Pittsburgh’s vibrant, diverse arts organizations stand as civic assets to be treasured and supported, and since 1927, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in its home base, Heinz Hall, has sparkled as the Cultural District’s crown jewel. The world-renowned PSO attracts music’s finest conductors and many of the nation’s most talented musicians — a point of pride for western Pennsylvania. But severe funding problems have threatened the financial health of the PSO, mirroring similar challenges encountered by many fine arts organizations around the country.

We invite donors (by invitation only) to join us for a private performance, followed by a discussion with PSO president and CEO Melia Tourangeau along with the musicians on issues facing the symphony and the current musical landscape locally and globally.
