Beth brings more than 27 years of nonprofit experience to the Foundation’s Finance team. Beth oversees federal- and state-related tax filings and compliance matters for the Foundation and its supporting organizations. She also prepares the financial statements on behalf of some supporting organizations and performs various reconciliations and accounting functions for the Foundation on a monthly basis.
Before joining the Finance Department at The Pittsburgh Foundation, Beth worked in the public accounting firm, Schneider Downs, where she managed numerous nonprofit tax engagements including tax compliance efforts, payroll and benefit related matters and accountable plan compliance. Prior to Schneider Downs, Beth was a Senior Tax Analyst with the West Penn Allegheny Health System. She has a BS in Business Administration from Robert Morris University. Beth is a member of the Professional Development Committee for FAOG (Finance, Administration and Operations Group). On their free weekends, Beth and her husband, Patrick, can be found at their lake house in Pymatuning. They are always planning a trip somewhere, whether it’s to a beach, national park or scenic mountain view.
