Mary Kate Ranii joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in October 2023 as program officer for Environment and Community Health. In this role, she manages a portfolio that executes strategies to protect and improve the physical health of communities and preserves our environment by advancing environmental justice and prioritizing health equity in Allegheny County.
Prior to this role, Mary Kate served as the program administrator at Duquesne University's Center for Environmental Research & Education and has worked for several environmental non-profits in the region. In her free time, she likes to learn other languages and eat snacks.
