Emily (she/her/hers) joined The Pittsburgh Foundation as Grants Manager in July 2022. She is responsible for the management of the grant-making administration process, focusing on everything from accuracy, approval, compliance and donor intent. Emily also manages and serves as the administrator of the software program through which all organizations and individuals apply for grant and scholarship funding.
A native of Phoenix, Az., Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in history from Arizona State University, and her Master of Public Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Prior to joining the Foundation, Emily spent more than a decade working in nonprofit development and operations, primarily at organizations focused on the environment and animal welfare. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, reading and binge watching her favorite television shows.
