Brittany joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in May 2023 as executive assistant to President and CEO Lisa Schroeder. In 2011, she began a 12-year career at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh where she provided administrative support to various division chiefs, directors, presidents, CMOs, CFOs and department chairs across four departments including Critical Care Medicine, Community Provider Services, Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology. In addition to administrative support roles, Brittany previously held the position of graduate medical education fellowship program coordinator for the Divisions of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Rheumatology. She’s acted as a project manager leading communications programs, employee engagement efforts and staff training programs for UPMC Innovative Homecare Solutions and for the Department of Critical Care Medicine.

Brittany started her career providing general administrative support at BMDS (Behavioral Measurement Database Services) HaPI, which is a health and psychosocial behavioral measurement database.

Brittany likes learning new things, so any time there is an opportunity for her to get involved in a new project, she is the first to volunteer. When she came across the listing for this position and learned more about our Foundation’s charitable contributions, she really wanted to be a part of the organization. Having led/organized various charitable campaigns during her tenure at UPMC, Brittany is excited to learn that staff can volunteer and is looking forward to doing that in the future.
