Bea joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in May 2023. As a donor services officer, she promotes philanthropy and enhances relationships with our donors. Before coming to the Foundation, Bea spent 14 years with Pittsburgh Urban Christian School, the last seven as development director, leading all fundraising programs. Prior to that work, she was a manager in the Change Management practice at Accenture, a global leader in technology, process and management consulting. There she served clients in process re-engineering, training development, business software selection, compliance audits and communication planning. She came to Pittsburgh in 1989 and attended Carnegie Mellon University where she studied Spanish and business.
Bea holds a deep commitment to people and place. For nearly 30 years, she has been involved in the neighborhoods of East Liberty, Wilkinsburg and Garfield. She loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends biking, hiking or floating on the Allegheny River, as well as traveling to Paris.
