Over 40 years, Joseph Massaro made a name for himself first in the construction business and then later for his family’s devotion to human services. Joe passed away in 2016 after a ten-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. In this interview, Joe’s widow, Carol, age 77, and their daughter Linda, age 55, talk about Joe’s legacy and the family’s efforts through the Joseph A. Massarro Alzheimer’s Research Fund at The Pittsburgh Foundation to combat this degenerative disease.
