Dave Bragdon Scholarship Fund

Created to help a deserving graduate feel the joy that Dave Bragdon (Mt. Lebanon class of 2001) got, and spread to his family and friends, from reading, music and theater. Scholarship has been funded to celebrate the life tragically cut short at age 18, of a young man who brought joy to everyone whose life he touched with his humor, compassion, love and hugs.

Don Roddy Memorial Scholarship Fund

Fund created in memory of Don Roddy, an educator, coach and avid sports enthusiast who was 50 years old when he died of colon cancer on April 16, 2002. Mr. Roddy taught physical education for 28 years at Waynesburg Central High School in Greene County. He was a football coach for 25 years; an assistant coach for 13 years at Bethlehem Center High School, and for shorter periods at Uniontown, Geibel Catholic, and Albert Gallatin high schools in Fayette County. He was also an avid golfer. This scholarship is for a graduating senior at a Fayette or Greene County high school.

To provide scholarships to benefit employees of Tri-State Petroleum Corporation and Underwood Limited Partnership, and their children. This scholarship is to assist those wanting to further their education and/or improve their skills.

Eleanor Friedberg Art Scholarship Fund

The Eleanor Friedberg Art Scholarship Fund, in conjunction with Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, was created for graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing studies in the arts.  Manchester Craftsmen's Guild produces the MCG Invitational Arts Exhibition which features the creative accomplishments of high school students working with the visual arts.

Fund created in memory of Eric, a Bethel Park High School athlete full of life, blessed with a great personality and winning smile, who tragically lost his young life in a drowning accident weeks after his graduation. Fox Chapel Area Education Fund/Craig Shondeck Memorial Scholarship Fund

Craig Shondeck was a vibrant, smiling graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School, Class of 1986. Following his graduation he attended Northern Arizona University. While on a trip to Mexico during spring break, he contracted a meningococcal infection which caused his sudden death on March 17, 1987. In memory of his friendship and spirit, his teammates, classmates, friends, and family established this memorial fund in his name to provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Fox Chapel Area High School pursuing their education.

Fox Chapel Area Education Scholarship Fund (The Ed Boyle Scholarship)

Ed Boyle was a collegiate All American soccer player who taught physical education at Kerr School when Fox Chapel Area School District was formed.  As a physical education teacher, he served as Head Coach for nine years.  His passion for soccer and his pride in Fox Chapel High School was always evident.  Because of his love for soccer and pride in Fox Chapel, the Boyle Family established this scholarship to be given to a graduating male soccer player.

Fox Chapel Area Education Scholarship Fund (Wilson McAuley and Carol McAuley Memorial Scholarship)

Carol McAuley and her brother Wilson were long-time residents of the Fox Chapel area. Ms. McAuley was an art teacher at Kerr School for many years. Wilson was a banker. It was their desire to help children of the district pursue higher education. Scholarships are for graduating seniors from Fox Chapel Area High School with an intent to pursue a career in business or technology.
