Thanks to donors who feel inspired to establish scholarship funds, The Pittsburgh Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships each year. The generosity of these community members is a wonderful example of how individuals can have a real and lasting impact in our community. In 2006, more than 400 scholarships were awarded, and a total of $1.6 million disbursed to students. The Foundation has awarded over $15 million in scholarships since 1948.
