John E. Morris Memorial Fund The John E. Morris Memorial Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of John E. Morris, a Johnstown musician. Scholarships to provide private music lessons, especially instrumental and jazz, for needy school children in the Johnstown Area High School.

Criteria

• Attend school in the Johnstown Area High School.
• Have completed two years of instrumental musical training.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Plan to attend private music lessons, especially instrumental and jazz.

How to Apply

• Complete the essay section of the application.
• Submit one letter of reference from a current school or private music instructor who can speak to your musical ability.
• Submit music instructor contact information.
