Scholarship name: Truxall Scholarship Fund - No. 2

Fund was established by the late John D. S. Truxall. Mr. Truxall loved the law and practiced well into his 90's. He was well traveled, an urbane gentleman, and dedicated to the education of new lawyers, especially those who could not afford legal education without financial assistance. Scholarships awarded to law students enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh.

Eligibility:

  • Pursue a degree or studies in: Law
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Institution at which to use scholarship: University of Pittsburgh School of Law
  • Complete an application.
  • Be enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
  • Be in good academic standing (B- or higher)
  • Maintain a GPA of: 2.75
  • Write and submit an essay: Why you are deserving of this scholarship.

How to apply:

  • Provide a college transcript.
  • Provide a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR).
  • Provide 2 letters of reference.
  • Write and submit an essay: Why you are deserving of this scholarship.
