Mahogany helps donors make meaningful investments that support the missions of community organizations. When connecting to nonprofits making a difference, she carefully considers each donor’s individual and family giving style. Prior to joining The Pittsburgh Foundation, Mahogany managed the major gift and planned giving programs at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Her broad range of work experience – from a nonprofit director to overseeing operations for a group of small family businesses to her work with the Library – has amplified her ability to build strong relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Her experience engaging volunteers and managing programs provides donors with a broad understanding of how nonprofits meet the critical needs of our community. Mahogany is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Communications and received a certificate in Latin American Studies. When she isn’t working with donors exploring their philanthropic values and giving priorities, she can be found in her kitchen cooking. She also loves exploring Pittsburgh’s 90 neighborhoods with her three-legged dog, Franco.
