Yascha Mounk: Threats to our Freedoms Threaten Democracy



Yascha Mounk discusses how threats to fundamental freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment can represent a threat to democracy in the United States and around the world. 

Mounk is a writer, academic and public speaker known for his work on the rise of populism and the crisis of liberal democracy. He is a lecturer on government at Harvard University, a senior fellow in the Political Reform Program at New America, and executive director at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
