Estelle F. Comay Director Emerita

Estelle F. Comay, director emerita, is a partner in the law firm of Marcus & Shapira LLP, where she specializes in corporate and commercial real estate law. She has served as chair of the Real Property Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, as well as chair of the boards for the Forbes Funds and JFilm. Comay was a founder and officer of Classrooms Without Borders and the Aleph Institute, and has served on the boards of the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Senator John Heinz History Center, the Falk Foundation, the United Jewish Federation Urban Affairs Foundation and the Snow Foundation. She is currently a board member of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, the National Board of Governors of the American Jewish Committee, the Rauh Jewish Archives and sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. Comay retired from The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Board of Directors in March 2006 after serving with distinction for nine years and is a Board member of the Foundation’s Supporting Organizations - the Buncher Foundation and the Charles E. Kaufman Foundation.
