Bri Casaus joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in October 2023 as the assessment and learning associate. In this role, she supports the cultivation of a learning culture at the Foundation and works collaboratively with staff on special initiatives. Another area is research and data access to support the Foundation’s strategic priorities and learn about environmental and social determinants of health in the region.

Before joining the Foundation, Bri earned a Masters of public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University. Before that, she served as the Economic Mobility VISTA at United Way of the Midlands, where she gained experience in project management focusing on economic mobility and job readiness initiatives.

During graduate school, Bri worked as a fellow with the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group. There, she researched neighborhood attributes and the needs of residents living in low-income, tax credit-supported housing communities in Allegheny County. In her free time, she hangs out with her two pets, a foxhound named Daisy and a cat named Kitty, thrifts, explores different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh and cheers on the University of Tennessee Vols.
